Description

You will support the Network Field Services team with physical infrastructure installation across various state facilities in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Install CAT5/6 and fiber optic cabling as the primary task.
• Perform termination and testing of CAT5/6 and fiber optic cabling.
• Install IP camera systems and network switches.
• Navigate diverse environments including attics, crawl spaces, and office settings.
• Travel throughout the state, which may involve early starts or late finishes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network cable installation.
• Expertise in CAT5/6 network cabling.
• Proficiency in fiber optic cabling installation.
• Ability to perform cable termination and testing.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the state.
• Capacity to work in physically demanding environments like crawl spaces and attics.
• Ability to work irregular hours as required by project needs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cisco switch installations.
• Experience with IP camera systems.
