Description

You will perform analysis, coding, and testing for major modifications to legacy applications within the Electronic Lien & Titling Project.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data and business processes.
• Design and coordinate changes to complex legacy program modules.
• Estimate feasibility and compatibility of changes with other programs and projects.
• Provide quality control for all project deliverables and documentation.
• Resolve highly complex technical problems within a large, diverse team environment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a programmer analyst in a corporate or government setting.
• 5+ years exposing COBOL programs as web services via CICS Transaction Server (CTS) and/or CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG).
• Expertise in COBOL, CICS, TSO, MVS JCL, and ENDEVOR.
• Proficiency with CA Tools, SQL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Strong background in mainframe programming techniques, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Proven experience with financial processes analysis and modification.
• Experience with analysis, design, and large-scale project team collaboration.
• Professional proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with state or county government systems.
• Knowledge of Secure Socket Layer (SSL).
• Experience with Enterprise Level Application Development and C# applications using the latest .NET framework.
