Description

You will manage and maintain large-scale, multi-node Neo4j cluster environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Handle Neo4j environment builds, including capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Perform daily operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for the Neo4j database.
• Create key performance metrics and measure cluster utilization and health.
• Manage backup and recovery functions for the database.
• Ensure data assets adhere to required security models and collaborate with engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Neo4j DBA experience supporting critical 24/7 applications.
• 5+ years administering and troubleshooting Neo4j (open source and DataStax) in multi-datacenter settings.
• Hands-on experience setting up DSE/Neo4j clusters.
• Expertise in Neo4j data structure design, schema design, and modeling.
• Experience with Neo4j performance tuning and CQL queries.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Perl, Python, Java, Spark, or Bash.
• Solid experience with Solr and Spark implementation of DSE.
• Experience building Neo4j pipelines using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Deep understanding of Neo4j distributed system performance and security principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jenkins, Github, or Gitlab.
