Description

You will manage Neo4j database environments and design graph data models to support complex relationship mapping and analytics.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Neo4j community or enterprise editions.
• Manage Neo4j clusters, including backups, recovery, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Design and implement graph data models and develop Cypher queries, procedures, and APOC integrations.
• Build and support applications that integrate with Neo4j using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Troubleshoot query performance, resource usage, and system health issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development or administration.
• 1–2 years of direct experience using Neo4j.
• Proficiency in Cypher query language and graph modeling principles.
• Hands-on experience with Neo4j Admin tools, Neo4j Browser, and Bloom.
• Ability to develop with Java, Python, or JavaScript and integrate via drivers or REST APIs.
• Understanding of graph theory, data structures, and complex relationship querying.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with data scientists and software developers on graph-based analytics.
