Description

You will lead NEPA environmental assessment projects and manage multidisciplinary teams from proposal through implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop NEPA project proposals and execute business development plans to secure new work.
• Lead project teams and train program members on NEPA processes.
• Prepare technical environmental documents, including Categorical Exclusions (CEs), Environmental Assessments (EAs), and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs).
• Review project requirements to ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations.
• Manage public involvement activities, including creating communication materials and participating in stakeholder meetings.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing all aspects of NEPA projects.
• Proven experience in proposal writing and business development.
• Expertise in technical writing for environmental documents and regulatory permits.
• Ability to collect and analyze social, economic, and environmental data for impact analysis.
• Deep knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations and guidelines.
• Experience managing, developing, and leading project teams.
• BS in engineering, planning, science, geology, or a related engineering degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VA and DoD NEPA projects.
• Experience working with Ohio DOT.
