Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using C# and ASP.NET Core.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize high-performance APIs using ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Deploy and manage backend services on AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Integrate APIs with SQL Server, NoSQL databases, and third-party services.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting production issues.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in .NET backend and API development.
• Strong proficiency with C# and ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Solid understanding of REST API design principles.
• Knowledge of SQL (SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to message queues like Kafka.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
