Description

Lead the architectural direction for enterprise-wide integration and large-scale transactional systems in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic architectural direction for integration technologies and service-oriented architecture frameworks.
• Design and architect Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using AD, Microsoft application servers, and Azure.
• Guide project teams on implementation, secure coding practices, and verification methods.
• Document technical designs, requirements, and diagrams to ensure scalable system quality.
• Break down complex requirements into project estimates, timelines, and dependencies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of progressive responsibility in a .NET development environment.
• 3+ years of experience with enterprise-wide integration architecture in a .NET environment.
• Expertise in C#, .NET Core, and RESTful Web APIs.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and multi-tier architectures.
• Deep knowledge of OOAD and architectural design patterns.
• Experience with cloud environments including AWS and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with SOA, EDA, and Microservices.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies like RabbitMQ or MSMQ for queue-based processing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD processes, and source code control.
