Description

Design, develop, and deploy web applications and APIs using ASP.NET and C# while owning the architecture of complex software solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of complex software solutions, including system architecture and database schemas.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers regarding design and coding practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to standards, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or TeamCity to automate build and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and propose solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development focusing on C# and the Microsoft ASP.NET framework.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Scrum or Kanban Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure as code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Microsoft certifications such as MCSD: App Builder or MCSD: Web Applications.
