Description

You will serve as the Release Manager for the PA-National Electronic Disease Surveillance System and PA-Electronic Laboratory Reporting systems. You oversee application development and support while managing the full release lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, manage, and coordinate releases across multiple applications and technical teams.
• Collaborate with the Applications Developer Administrator to reestablish a change control board for prioritizing technical work.
• Triage incoming requests and assign work based on resource bandwidth, level of effort, and prioritization.
• Prepare Request for Change (RFC) documentation through ServiceNow for Change Control Board review.
• Create release playbooks and maintain a centralized release calendar for all projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a senior resource managing software developers and service delivery for complex technical projects.
• Expertise in .NET Framework, including C#.NET and VB.NET.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and Visual Studio.
• Experience with ASP.NET, WCF, and RESTful web services.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and XSLT.
• Database experience with Oracle 19c (PL/SQL) and Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS).
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016 and IIS.
• Ability to use PowerShell for automation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio.
