Description

You will lead the architectural design and technical execution of API migrations and cloud integrations on Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate APIM changes and manage API deployment and cutover planning.
• Collaborate with data and cloud architects to ensure solution feasibility and design event-driven architectures.
• Define implementation tasks with Project Managers and mitigate technical risks.
• Review code and oversee work intake to maintain architectural standards.
• Implement secure coding practices and cost-effective data migration processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
• Expertise in .NET API and .NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services: APIM, Service Bus, Azure Storage, Key Vault, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, and Azure Web Jobs.
• Proficiency with App Insights for API logging and monitoring within the cloud.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing asynchronous integration patterns, including message-based and event-driven architectures.
• Deep understanding of API SDLC, API Management, and CI/CD pipelines for both applications and API management.
• Proven experience with cloud migrations, traffic migration to different gateways, and Canary deployment patterns.
• Experience with API-to-API level communication and service meshes like Istio and Apigee Envoy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large-scale cloud moves and architectural transitions.
