Description

You will design and oversee software architectures for medical instrument products, ensuring stability and scalability across hardware and software layers.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural planning for new and existing products, aligning with project timelines and risk mitigation strategies.
• Integrate instrument hardware with software to ensure seamless product performance.
• Reverse-engineer undocumented or poorly documented legacy systems to support ongoing maintenance and development.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using root cause analysis and provide clear written documentation of findings.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers in architectural design and technical execution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Architect.
• Proficiency in C#, C++, and Delphi.
• Experience with WPF and embedded software development.
• Proven track record of hardware and software integration, specifically with medical or scientific instruments.
• Strong SQL and database system design skills.
• Experience working within SDLC and Scrum methodologies in a corporate environment.
• Ability to navigate various layers including UI, business logic, and instrument control.
• Strong written communication skills for technical reporting and root cause documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
• Background in instrument control systems.
