Description

You will lead the architectural design and evolution of software for clinical diagnostic instruments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee software architectures for new and existing products to ensure stability and scalability.
• Lead architectural planning and implementation in coordination with project managers to manage timelines and technical risks.
• Reverse-engineer undocumented or poorly documented legacy systems to support ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with instrument hardware.
• Perform root cause analysis for complex technical issues and document findings clearly.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Architect.
• Expertise in C#, C++, and Delphi.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database systems.
• Proven ability to reverse-engineer complex, undocumented codebases.
• Experience with software-hardware integration, specifically with medical or scientific instruments.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work across different layers, including UI, business logic, and instrument control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience conducting code reviews and fixing bugs within regulated corporate environments.
• Strong written communication skills for technical reporting and documentation.
