Description

Design and implement scalable, secure, cloud-based web application architectures within the Azure ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design modular architectures utilizing Azure services including App Services, Storage, Functions, and Azure SQL.
• Implement scalable web applications using SOA, microservices, and containerization principles.
• Architect secure systems following best practices for authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Optimize database design, queries, and performance within SQL environments.
• Lead and mentor development teams to drive technical excellence and project technology choices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
• Deep expertise in core .NET technologies, including .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework and design patterns such as Repository, Dependency Injection, MVC, and MVVM.
• Proven track record of deploying web applications at scale using Azure cloud services.
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps for automated building, testing, and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating .NET backends with JavaScript frameworks including React, Angular, or Vue.js.
