Description

Design and implement scalable software architectures and applications using the .NET framework.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into architectural designs and system component interactions.
• Lead the design, development, and integration testing of software applications using C# and ASP.NET.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scheduled batch processes for system integrations.
• Review code and architecture to ensure compliance with security best practices and department standards.
• Manage application deployment plans and implement CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in .NET and .NET Core, including API development.
• 5+ years of experience with DDL and DML T-SQL, including advanced stored procedures, indexes, and transactions.
• 3+ years of experience in application architecture, technical design, and technical diagramming.
• 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and managing teams of developers and engineers.
• 3+ years of experience in batch process development, batch cycle support, and data mapping.
• Proficiency in C#, MVC, Web API, and Blazor.
• 1+ years of experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub repositories.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud and system catalog views.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience in development or support of financial business systems.
• Prior experience working with a state government agency and understanding of standard accounting practices.
