Description

You will own the technical architecture and orchestration of application components for IT modernization initiatives, balancing sustainability, cost, security, and compliance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and apply technical architecture for cloud systems, ensuring seamless integration with COTS, SaaS, and government applications.
• Provide technical leadership to application development staff, guiding usability, security, mobility, and maintainability.
• Analyze technical and business problems to recommend technology strategies that improve productivity.
• Ensure CEPI Cloud infrastructure integrates correctly with internal and external state and federal services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant experience in cloud application development architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of .NET (ASP.NET, .NET Framework 4.8 or higher, .NET 6 or higher).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Function Apps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience designing and maintaining distributed applications using microservices architecture.
• Strong command of HTML, XML, SQL, SOAP, REST, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of web services, secure coding practices, and relational database concepts.
• Experience with observability and distributed tracing concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience analysis, design, programming, testing, and supporting web-based applications on the Microsoft/Windows platform.
