You build production-grade back-end services using .NET 8/9, focusing on scalability and performance optimization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable back-end services using modern C# features.
• Implement secure REST APIs, managing OAuth 2.0, JWT, and token lifecycle.
• Design and implement reusable C# libraries and NuGet packages following semantic versioning.
• Integrate API observability, including structured logging, distributed tracing, and metrics.
• Containerize .NET applications using Docker for development and deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in back-end development.
• Advanced proficiency in C# and modern language features (e.g., records, pattern matching).
• Expertise in asynchronous programming patterns (async/await) and C# memory management (Span<T>, Memory<T>).
• Strong knowledge of .NET application lifecycle, middleware pipelines, and hosting models.
• Proficiency with Docker, including authoring multi-stage Dockerfiles.
• Experience with testing frameworks like xUnit and mocking (e.g., Moq).
• Familiarity with REST API design, versioning, and OpenAPI/Swagger integration.
• Experience with containerization tooling, specifically Dev Containers.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, input validation, and secrets management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
