Description

Lead a team of backend engineers to design and build scalable systems in Las Vegas, NV.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the backend engineering team through technical guidance and mentorship.
• Design and implement scalable backend architecture and database schemas.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices while integrating legacy SOAP APIs.
• Optimize database performance and resolve system bottlenecks.
• Manage the hiring, training, and development of the backend engineering team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Deep experience with Azure Functions and Azure API Management.
• Proficiency with MS-SQL and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft and Java.
• Proven track record of leading technical teams.
• Strong understanding of RESTful architecture and microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools.
• Experience using logging tools like Azure App Insights and New Relic.
