Description

You will lead the migration of a legacy FoxPro application to a modern .NET Core architecture while designing and developing new features.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.
• Convert existing FoxPro application logic and data structures to .NET Core.
• Generate and integrate reports using Crystal Reports Designer.
• Execute all phases of the development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Maintain technical documentation for processes, procedures, and specifications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with 7+ years of hands-on application development.
• Proficiency in C# or VB.NET and ASP.NET (MVC).
• Experience with Visual Studio 2010+ and SQL Server 2008+.
• Strong front-end skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and 5+ years of AJAX.
• 3+ years of experience with jQuery and XML.
• 2+ years of experience with Bootstrap, JSON, and data conversion/migration.
• 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.
• 2+ years of experience developing web services using WCF.
• 2+ years of experience writing console and batch applications for data interfaces.
• 1+ year of experience with Team Foundation Server or GIT.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ year of experience with FoxPro Version 9.
• 1+ year of experience with Azure or AWS DevOps.
• Microsoft certifications and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT.
