Description

Build and maintain complex hardware-software integration features for web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable background services using C# and the .NET framework.
• Implement browser-to-native communication layers using WebSockets, SignalR, and Native Messaging.
• Troubleshoot low-level issues involving hardware, software, and the Windows OS.
• Integrate with device communication protocols such as USB and serial ports.
• Mitigate security risks related to XSS, CORS, and browser vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years specializing in hardware-software integration for web apps.
• Expert proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Understanding of browser APIs for hardware access (WebUSB, WebHID).
• Experience with Windows service lifecycle management and security contexts.
• Familiarity with security principles including XSS and CORS.
