Description

You will design, build, and own a fully automated deployment pipeline for Windows codec packs delivered via the Microsoft Store.

Responsibilities

• Build an end-to-end automated deployment pipeline for codec packs.
• Manage phased Store rollouts (10% → 25% → 50% → 100%) with automated promotion/hold logic based on telemetry.
• Define and instrument release health metrics using telemetry and crash data.
• Implement anomaly detection, automated alerts, and auto-generated Incident Command Management (ICM) workflows.
• Create pre-flight validations, telemetry-based gates, and safe-deployment guardrails.

Required Skills

• 4+ years experience in CI/CD pipelines and automation replacing manual workflows.
• 3+ years experience with telemetry, ETW/WPP, and interpreting crash/Watson data into health metrics.
• 2+ years experience with ICM workflows, anomaly response, and incident triage.
• Expertise in .NET and C#.
• Proven experience shipping large-scale services or CI/CD systems.
• Demonstrated ability to convert manual processes into automated pipelines and policy systems.
• Familiarity with Kusto Queries and reliability dashboards.
• Experience with automated gating and alerting systems.
