Description

You will modernize applications by upgrading from .NET Framework to .NET 8 and migrating Windows-based workloads to Linux containers on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade and develop applications using .NET 8.
• Design and implement the Data Access Layer using Entity Framework Core, EF6, Dapper, or ADO.NET.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to Kubernetes (GKE) on GCP.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps for non-Production and Production environments.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and support production cutover troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in application development.
• Expertise in .NET Framework and .NET 8.
• Experience with GCP services (GCE, GKE, Cloud Run).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline management using Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven patterns (Kafka, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and security best practices (OWASP, secrets management).
