Description

Design, develop, and test .NET desktop applications for engineering calculations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modular software code for desktop applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and implement solutions.
• Perform unit testing and participate in solution design and code reviews.
• Analyze technical problems and identify opportunities for application improvement.
• Package and support the deployment of software releases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in .NET and C#.
• Proficiency with WPF and desktop application testing.
• Experience using Visual Studio 2019 or newer.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD and GitHub.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience performing unit testing using Visual Studio tools.
• College degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of engineering concepts and calculations.
• Scrum certification.
• Familiarity with ship structures, CAD, or finite element approaches.
