Description

Design, implement, and debug subsystems for large-scale web applications, owning the full development lifecycle from specification to testing.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and document object-oriented subsystems that execute encapsulated functions within the larger system architecture.
• Implement and debug complex web-based software using N-tier architectures, dynamic content, and scalable security models.
• Write and execute unit and integrated tests for components on test and production servers.
• Collaborate with technical leaders to define data interchange formats, APIs, and messaging strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and support the management of the team’s technical infrastructure, including repositories and build systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience independently designing and implementing medium to large-scale software systems using .NET architectures.
• 5+ years of experience developing data-driven applications with SQL Server databases.
• 5+ years of experience building web-based systems with complex security models and high scalability requirements.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Angular and PrimeNG.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC 3+, and Entity Framework 6.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2016, IIS 8.5, and TFS (Team Foundation Server).
• Strong understanding of jQuery, WCF, and SSRS.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Economic Services Eligibility applications (SNAP/TANF) system design.
• Practical experience with Agile software development methodologies.
