Description

You will design, develop, and implement large-scale solutions within production environments.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and document code, scripts, and processes according to organizational standards.
• Design self-contained systems and lead implementations of significant capabilities in existing systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify domain-level problems and prescribe mitigation actions.
• Decompose intricate designs into implementations that can be maintained by less experienced engineers.
• Coach team members on techniques to improve reliability, resiliency, security, and performance.
• Anticipate system trouble areas and guide instrumentation practices for observability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale production solutions.
• Proficiency in C# and VB.NET.
• Extensive experience with .NET Framework, .NET web applications, desktop, and batch programs.
• Experience with .NET MVC and ASP.NET Webforms.
• Strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Stored Procedures.
• Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles.
• Experience with Git and FTP.
• Knowledge of DevOps toolchain methodologies, including CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as SCRUM.
• Understanding of PCI, SOX, PII, and security standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience within the airline industry.
