Description

You will build scalable Windows services and Web APIs within an Azure environment using Docker container technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions for ingesting highly variable data structures in concurrent cloud environments.
• Build microservices to provide abstraction for data ingestion processes and information.
• Collaborate with Architecture and Security teams to ensure data encryption and secure transfer.
• Implement metadata retention to track execution details, reproducibility, and operational metrics.
• Work with Extraction and Normalization teams to define requirements for data asset ingestion.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C, C#.NET, and .NET Core.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience building Windows and Linux services.
• Ability to write PowerShell scripts.
• Experience with low-level back-end programming, including efficient network communication.
• Knowledge of streaming, compression, and column-oriented data storage formats.
• Familiarity with API Gateways and Okta Authentication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
