Description

You will manage legacy systems while developing modern applications within a .NET environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing applications built with VBA, Access Database, and Visual Basic.
• Develop new applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Lead migration efforts from older systems to modern platforms.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across all systems.
• Document code changes, processes, and migration strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with VBA and Microsoft Access database applications.
• Proficiency in C# and Visual Basic.
• Hands-on experience migrating legacy applications to .NET platforms.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with .NET Core or .NET 6+.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or modern database systems.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
