Description

Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot legacy systems while transitioning them to modern platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot legacy systems within production environments.
• Refactor and modularize code to facilitate system migration to modern platforms.
• Execute data mapping, conversion, and system-to-system migration planning.
• Translate child welfare program requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and project managers on system design.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Natural programming language.
• 10+ years of experience with Visual Basic 6.
• 10+ years of experience with SQL.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework, including C# and ASP.NET.
• Experience with data integration, batch processing, and file-based interface routines.
• Proficiency with source control tools such as Git, SVN, or TFS.
• Experience with Child Welfare Information Systems (SACWIS, MACWIS, or CCWIS).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ADABAS.
• Knowledge of federal CCWIS compliance standards.
