Description

Build and maintain .NET scientific applications, specifically STARLIMS, using ASP.NET MVC and Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain functional and non-functional requirements for STARLIMS.
• Perform software testing against functional requirements and specifications.
• Evaluate performance results and recommend major architectural changes.
• Follow the SDLC process to promote and release software applications.
• Document system design, implementation artifacts, and operating procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of web development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and MVC technologies.
• Experience developing STARLIMS or other LIMS systems.
• Strong SQL skills with experience integrating data sources.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server (2012 and above).
• Experience managing Microsoft IIS and Microsoft Windows Server (2012, 2016).
• Ability to design and develop custom reports using Crystal Reports and MS Office.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Mettler-Toledo balances or LabX software.
