Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and support enterprise applications using modern .NET technologies and cloud-based platforms.
• Build, maintain and optimise solutions hosted in Microsoft Azure, including web applications, serverless services, databases and secure storage components.
• Develop and support system integrations using APIs, middleware and reporting platforms to enable seamless data exchange across multiple business systems.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments and release processes to support efficient software delivery.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues and improve system reliability using industry-standard monitoring and observability tools.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Produce and maintain high quality technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, deployment procedures and environment configurations.
• Ensure solutions align with security, governance and compliance requirements while following development best practices.

Skills and Experience

• Proven commercial experience developing applications using .NET technologies.
• Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Blob Storage and Key Vault.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, build automation, release management and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Demonstrated experience with integration technologies, API development and enterprise data integration solutions.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging and application performance management tools such as Application Insights, Grafana or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with modern development tools, including Visual Studio, VS Code, SQL Server Management Studio and Git.
• Front-end development experience with frameworks such as AngularJS, Blazor WebAssembly or comparable technologies.
• Experience integrating with business platforms, workflow systems or financial applications will be highly regarded.
• Exposure to AI-assisted software development tools, including GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio or equivalent technologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and DevOps delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, industry certifications or equivalent practical experience in software development or technology.
• ITIL, PRINCE2 or other relevant industry certifications would be advantageous.
• Experience working within large, complex or highly regulated environments will be highly regarded
