Description

Develop and maintain applications using the .NET framework within an agile team environment in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Write design specifications based on provided architecture blueprint documents.
• Apply engineering practices including test-driven development and continuous integration.
• Manage source control, builds, and deployments using TFS.
• Implement design patterns such as Factory method, Decorator, Command, and Publish/Subscribe.
• Improve code quality through code reviews, coverage tools, and code analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Extensive knowledge of .NET 4.5, C#, and LINQ.
• Proficiency in SQL, MS SQL/T-SQL, and stored procedure development.
• Experience with WebApi, WCF, and REST web services.
• Frontend skills including JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of MVC, MVVM, and OOP principles.
• Experience with ORM tools including Entity Framework and ADO.NET.
• Practical application of TDD and writing testable code.
• Familiarity with agile planning, estimation, and scrum methodologies.
