Description

Build and extend microservices within a federated GraphQL architecture using .NET and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain .NET microservices to resolve data for new GraphQL subgraphs.
• Write unit tests using xUnit and integration tests using Playwright.
• Configure and modify Azure DevOps pipeline tasks to meet specific project requirements.
• Develop Azure Functions, queues, and triggers to support service logic.
• Monitor service health using DataDog and Application Insights.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in .NET microservices development.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including build pipelines, releases, and test plans.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and Apollo Federation.
• Ability to work with TypeScript in a federated gateway and subgraph environment.
• Experience with xUnit for unit testing.
• Experience with Playwright for integration testing.
• Knowledge of Azure services including Functions and Queues.
• Familiarity with log monitoring tools like DataDog or Application Insights.

Preferred Skills

• Experience reverse engineering legacy applications.
• Ability to build custom monitors in DataDog.
