Description

You will own full lifecycle application development for distributed, high-volume web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full software development lifecycle, ensuring code meets architecture and quality standards.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve technical issues.
• Architect and deploy scalable web applications using Microsoft Azure PaaS and IaaS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct thorough unit testing prior to User Acceptance Testing and implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET/MVC, WCF, and WebAPI.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) including DB2.
• Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks, REST, XML, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
• Practical knowledge of Python and Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience architecting cloud-based applications leveraging Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of design patterns, performance tuning, and troubleshooting strategies.
• Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Agile Project Management, Scrum framework, and legacy technologies like Mainframe or Cobol.
• Experience with financial systems (ERP) and basic understanding of accounting principles.
