Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API
• Build and consume RESTful APIs to support front-end and integration needs
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database logic
• Build and maintain responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Diagnose and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical debt in existing applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product/business stakeholders) to deliver features on schedule
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices
• Document code changes, technical decisions, and processes as needed

Required Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in ASP.NET MVC
• Strong experience building and consuming Web API / RESTful services
• Strong proficiency in C#
• Solid experience writing and optimizing T-SQL (stored procedures, functions, query tuning)
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience maintaining and extending existing codebases
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with source control systems (Git, TFS/Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with IIS deployment and configuration
• Experience with dependency injection, unit testing, and design patterns in .NET
• Exposure to modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices
• Prior experience in a nearshore/remote contract capacity
