Description

Develop and maintain applications within an AWS-based environment, building and deploying services using EC2, Lambda, and API Gateway.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy services using AWS components like EC2, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Manage data persistence using relational databases including SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Apply design patterns, refactoring techniques, and unit testing to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Extreme Programming (XP).

Required Skills

• Up to 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency with SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, SQS, SNS, and Lambda.
• Practical knowledge of containers and API Gateway.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and unit testing methodologies.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux and open source software.
• Background in financial services, specifically mortgages and mortgage-backed securities.
• Experience using AI Co-pilot or equivalent AI coding tools.
