Description

You will own the analysis, design, and development of complex computer systems and software components. Your primary focus is migrating legacy COM-based platforms (EXEs and DLLs) to a modern .NET or .NET Core architecture while implementing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug software components, tools, and utilities for system operation and maintenance.
• Determine technical objectives for complex components and large-scale projects with considerable autonomy.
• Design and implement technical solutions for moderately complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity.
• Migrate legacy COM applications to modern .NET architectures, ensuring stability and performance.
• Troubleshoot Windows systems, diagnose performance issues, and mitigate memory leaks or bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core application development.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL Server.
• Experience with client/server RDBMS systems and data access using Object Relational Models (Entity Framework or Dapper).
• Strong background in UX/UI design and development for web applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise latitude in determining technical objectives for critical projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WPF, MAUI, Win UI, or Blazor.
• Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps/GitLab.
• Experience with application performance troubleshooting and tuning.
