Description

Build and maintain backend services and applications using modern .NET technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and applications using .NET Core and C#.
• Build web applications using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, or ASP.NET Core.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Develop and execute tests using XUnit or NUnit.
• Leverage Postgres GIS capabilities for geospatial data handling.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in .NET Core and C#.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, specifically Postgres GIS.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of testing frameworks like XUnit or NUnit.
• Familiarity with ORMs such as Entity Framework or Dapper.
• Experience with Azure cloud services (Functions, Queue, Storage, Key Vault).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio 2022, VS Code, and Azure DevOps/Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven architecture patterns.
• Strong understanding of geospatial data integration.
