Description

Lead the migration of legacy VB.NET applications to modern C# implementations, refactoring codebases for performance and maintainability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy VB.NET codebases to C#.
• Refactor and modernize existing code to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Migrate stored procedures and database logic into the .NET codebase.
• Collaborate with team leads to manage user stories and development tasks.
• Participate in planning, estimation, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and VB.NET.
• Hands-on experience using Visual Studio.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Proven experience with code refactoring and codebase migration.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with performance tuning and code optimization.
