Description

Lead the modernization of legacy classic ASP applications by rebuilding them with modern .NET patterns. You will collaborate with internal developers to define architecture, migration strategies, and best practices while supporting deployment and cloud readiness.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and refactor legacy classic ASP codebases.
• Rebuild applications using modern .NET patterns and architecture.
• Collaborate with internal developers on migration strategy and best practices.
• Support deployment processes and ensure cloud-readiness during modernization.
• Report daily and weekly progress to Agile teams, flagging issues and roadblocks.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with classic ASP.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web APIs.
• Proven experience modernizing or rewriting legacy web applications.
• Understanding of security, performance, and maintainability for externally facing apps.
• Experience working within Agile teams.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
