Description

Senior .NET Full Stack Engineer with strong Confluent Kafka and Azure/GCP cloud experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable event-driven applications.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Confluent Kafka clusters, including brokers, ZooKeeper, Control Center, Schema Registry, and Connect clusters.
• Design and develop web applications and APIs using .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core, implementing RESTful services and microservices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub, implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Monitor distributed systems using Dynatrace and Splunk, diagnosing broker failures, data flow interruptions, and consumer lag.
• Deploy Kafka clusters and connectors across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, integrating with Event Hub, Logic Apps, and AKS.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in full stack development with .NET, C#, and ASP.NET Core.
• Strong expertise in Confluent Kafka or Apache Kafka, including topic configuration, partitions, and replication strategies.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure (Event Hub, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, AKS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and containerized deployments via Kubernetes.
• Ability to implement Kafka security mechanisms (SSL, SASL) and manage service accounts in Confluent Cloud.
• Experience monitoring system health and performance using Dynatrace and Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing Windows console applications and services.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures integrating Kafka with REST APIs and databases.
