Description

You will build backend services, web applications, and accessible digital products using the .NET ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services and web applications using .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Design RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop responsive, mobile-first front-end interfaces adhering to accessibility standards.
• Integrate Azure cloud services including Functions, Queues, Storage, and Key Vault.
• Write unit tests using xUnit or NUnit to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, or ASP.NET Core.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills, including recent experience with Azure SQL.
• Experience with Angular (version 14 or greater), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with Entity Framework or Dapper ORMs.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
• Deep understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and mobile-first development.
• Working knowledge of digital accessibility regulations including Section 508, ADA, and WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Experience applying WAI-ARIA guidelines and optimizing for platform accessibility (HTML, iOS, Android).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Jasmine, Karma, jQuery, or Bootstrap.
• Experience incorporating accessibility testing into the development lifecycle and "definition of done".
