Description

You will own the design, security, and implementation of complex .NET applications, focusing on upgrading legacy systems to .NET Core while enhancing database functionality and application security.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade and refactor legacy applications to the latest .NET Core version.
• Design and implement application security, validation, and privacy compliance measures.
• Perform database design, administration, and optimization for SQL and DB2 systems.
• Mentor less experienced staff and provide complex technical support.
• Create documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer for new processes and techniques.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of direct experience creating applications in multiple programming languages.
• Advanced proficiency in C# and VB.NET development.
• Deep knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• 5+ years of experience with database design and administration.
• 5+ years of experience with application and database security and compliance.
• Proficient with IIS configuration and Windows Server (2016 through 2025).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and SQL databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM DB2, Red Hat Linux, and Drupal CMS.
