Key Responsibilities

Kafka Engineering

• Set up, configure, and maintain Confluent Kafka clusters includingbrokers, ZooKeeper, Control Center, Schema Registry, and Connect clusters.
• Manage Kafka topics (create, delete, configure retention, replication, partitions).
• Monitor Kafka cluster health, performance, and consumer lag using tools likeDynaTrace & Splunk.
• Diagnose and resolve Kafka-related issues such asbroker failures, data flow issues, and consumer group rebalances.
• Integrate Kafka with Azure/GCP services, REST APIs, databases, and microservices.
• Deploy Kafka connectors, ensure security (SSL/SASL), and manage service accounts & API keys inConfluent Cloud.

.NET Full Stack Development

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using the.NET stack (C#) across front‑end and back‑end.
• Build scalable, secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop Windows console applications and background services.
• Implement responsive UI and ensure seamless integration with backend services.
• Optimize application performance throughunit tests, code reviews, and best practices.

Cloud Engineering (Azure / GCP)

• Work with Azure services such asEvent Hub, Logic Apps, AKS, Azure Functions (.NET & Java).
• Build and maintain cloud-based, event-driven architectures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud resources ensuring high availability and reliability.

DevOps & Infrastructure

• Build CI/CD pipelines usingAzure DevOps / GitHub Actions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code usingTerraform.
• Automate deployments and release processes.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads (AKS/GKE).
• Collaborate with dev & ops teams to improve system scalability, observability, and security.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as an individual contributor while also leading and mentoring offshore teams.
• Work in agile/scrum development cycles and ensure timely sprint delivery.
• Provide clear documentation, troubleshooting guidance, and knowledge transfer.
