Description

Lead the engineering of event-driven microservices using .NET and Confluent Kafka, while managing cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, and RESTful APIs.
• Set up, configure, and maintain Confluent Kafka clusters, including brokers, Schema Registry, Connect, and security protocols.
• Build and manage event-driven architectures using Azure Event Hubs, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and automate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Monitor system health and performance using Dynatrace and Splunk, resolving broker failures and consumer lag issues.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework 4.5+, and ASP.NET Core.
• Deep expertise in Apache Kafka and Confluent Cloud (topics, partitions, replication, connectors).
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (AKS, Event Hub, Logic Apps, Functions) and GCP.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes (AKS/GKE) for container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Ability to mentor offshore teams and lead technical troubleshooting.
