Description

Lead the cloud modernization of the Ontario Renal Reporting System, upgrading legacy WebForms applications to ASP.NET Core MVC.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade existing web applications from WebForms to ASP.NET Core MVC and remediate technical deficiencies.
• Design and develop micro-services, large-scale web services, and RESTful APIs.
• Build responsive, accessible single-page applications (SPAs) in collaboration with UI/UX designers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot functional and performance issues, implementing corrective and preventive fixes.
• Partner with Operations and Architecture teams to ensure alignment with digital health blueprints and environment stability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in application and web development.
• Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong backend experience with Node.js and ASP.NET Core MVC.
• Proven experience planning and developing API endpoints.
• Practical knowledge of OAuth standards and security best practices.
• Experience with databases including MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and Redis.
• Proficiency with Git source version control workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of FHIR and HL7 standards.
• Experience with Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with NGINX, Apache, and Red Hat Linux.
