Description

You will lead development efforts and provide technical direction for a team of developers in Clifton Forge, VA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain VB.NET and SQL code while enforcing programming standards.
• Design and implement applications using software design patterns to ensure maintainability.
• Mentor less experienced teammates and provide technical direction during development.
• Participate in code reviews, write system documentation, and collaborate with business and system analysts.
• Write unit and integration tests and address production issues as part of an on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in VB.NET, C#, and T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and writing complex T-SQL queries.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and Web API.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
• Deep understanding of system design patterns and tiered architecture.
• Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex technical problems.
• Proven experience in applying testing practices and software design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication skills for technical and business requirement discussions.
