Description

Lead development of scalable Windows services and Web APIs within Azure, designing solutions for high-variable data ingestion in concurrent cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build microservices using Docker to abstract data ingestion processes.
• Collaborate with Architecture and Security teams to implement encryption and secure transfer protocols.
• Partner with Extraction and Normalization teams to define system requirements and plan features.
• Implement metadata retention for execution tracking, reproducibility, and operational metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in C, C#.Net, and .NET Core.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Background in low-level back-end programming and efficient network communication.
• Experience building reliable Windows and Linux services.
• Knowledge of streaming, compression, and column-oriented data storage formats.
• Familiarity with Okta authentication and API Gateways.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
