Description

Lead the design and implementation of high-scale REST-based microservices for e-commerce systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend platforms using .NET 6+ to ensure scalability and performance.
• Translate business requirements into technical services, integration models, and architectural diagrams.
• Lead the development team in implementing microservices while ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling within Azure environments.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with career progression to Architect level.
• 6+ years as a Software Architect focusing on APIs and integration layers.
• 5+ years building REST-based APIs using ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Web API.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services (Azure SQL, Storage, Cosmos, Redis, Event Hub).
• Proficiency in T-SQL, ADO.NET, or Dapper, including RDBMS/MySQL indexes and stored procedures.
• Experience with Event-Driven Systems, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Practical knowledge of Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Experience with unit testing (xUnit/NUnit), mocking frameworks (Moq/AutoFac/NSubstitute), and Fluent Validation.
• Understanding of authentication protocols including OAuth, SAML, or JWT.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications in Azure and .NET.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale microservices platforms in production environments.
