Description

You will build and maintain web and Windows applications for internal staff and state constituents in Richmond, VA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and support web and Windows-based applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Develop and integrate web services to support application functionality.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data management.
• Collaborate with established contractors and staff to deliver software updates and features.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional programming experience.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework.
• Experience with .NET Core.
• Working knowledge of MVC and WebForms.
• Ability to write SQL for database operations.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Proficiency with Git SCM for version control.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of application security principles.
• Familiarity with mobile and responsive design methodologies.
