Description

Lead Developer for existing .NET applications and the new SACWIS system. You drive work from requirements through implementation, including verification, design, development, testing, and support.

Responsibilities

• Develop general and detailed design specifications for moderate to complex systems.
• Design database architecture, including relational data structures, data marts, and logical/physical data models.
• Create and maintain efficient, documented custom SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers using Microsoft T-SQL.
• Manage data migration and integration from legacy systems to new applications and technologies.
• Troubleshoot query performance using SQL Server Profiler, Performance Monitor, and Execution plans to recommend index improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expertise in Microsoft T-SQL, including writing stored procedures, triggers, and complex SQL scripts.
• Experience with database performance tuning using SQL Server Profiler, DBCCC commands, and Database Engine Tuning Advisor.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining SSRS reports and SSIS ETL packages.
• Experience with SOA integration initiatives.
• Knowledge of FTP/SFTP protocols.
• Ability to design relational data structures and data models.
