Description

Lead the design and implementation of REST-based microservices, integration models, and security architectures for high-scale systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices capable of handling millions of requests.
• Translate business requirements into technical microservices and integration architectures.
• Build security models incorporating access control, policies, and authentication.
• Define deployment models for microservices and integration across various channels.
• Communicate architectural designs to executive teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with progression to Architect level.
• 6+ years as a Software Architect focusing on APIs and integration layers.
• 5+ years building REST-based APIs using .NET Web API.
• 3+ years working with .NET 3.1 and .NET 6.
• 3+ years of experience building applications on the Azure platform, including Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos, Azure Redis, and Azure Event Hub.
• Experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, and App Services.
• Proficiency in Event-Driven Systems and Azure DevOps pipeline/release building.
• Experience with Azure API Gateway, Azure APIM, and ARM templates.
• Hands-on testing with xUnit or NUnit, Moq, AutoFac, NSubstitute, and Fluent Validation.
• 2+ years of SSO integration experience with ForgeRock, Ping Identity, or Okta, with deep understanding of OAuth, SAML, and JWT token consumption.
• Knowledge of NuGet dependency management and SOLID principles.
• Understanding of high availability using Azure Fabrics or AKS.
